Lecture in English and Havdalah on Zoom

On Saturday afternoon, February 6, at 5 PM, Har-El member Yisrael Mitra will deliver a lecture in English on:
Censoring the TaNaKh While Translating It? Examples from the Aramaic Targumim
Yisrael Mitra is currently a full-time student at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem. He is also writing a doctoral dissertation in Hebrew Bible Studies at the University of Louvain in Belgium. He holds a Master’s degree in Jewish Studies from the University of Oxford. He has presented papers on metaphors in the Hebrew Bible at various international conferences in Europe and the USA.
Following the lecture we will make Havdalah together.
