Lecture (in Hebrew & English)

On Shabbat morning, June 27 at 11:30 AM, following the service, the congregation will hold a special event as part of our “Tarbudat” lecture series: at the initiative of Har-El vice chairperson Orly Shevach, we will host the Ambassador of Kosovo to Israel, Ines Demiri (pictured), who resides in Jerusalem.

The program:
“Kosovo-Israel-Kosovo”: Har-El member Orly Shevach will share the recollections of her father, Avraham Adijas z”l, who lived in Kosovo during the Second World War, and the Ambassador of Kosovo to Israel, Ms. Ines Demiri, will share her personal story and introduce us to the journey her country has undergone from that time until today.

The event will be held in both Hebrew and English, where the part in Hebrew will be simultaneously translated to English.  So speakers of both languages are invited to participate!
