DESCRIPTION:Members of the congregation are invited to visit the yurt (a Mongolian tent) of Har-El member Dr. Yael Stein. \nThe yurt is at 3 Ahad Ha’am Street\, in the courtyard of the Merchav Chevrati Malon Ha’nasi (the Social Space of the President’s Hotel).  For those coming by car\, there is blue & white parking on Ahad Ha’am and the adjoining streets. \nWe will meet at the site on Tuesday\, July 2\, at 5:30 PM. Dr. Stein will give an explanation about the place and then speak (in Hebrew) on: “The concept of health in the mirror of consciousness  – social truths and their potential influence on our health.” \nLight refreshments will be served. \nSubsidized price for Har-El members: 20 NIS per person.  Non-members: 30 NIS. \nTo register and for more details\, please contact Har-El’s administrator Shany Shlomo at 053-649-9584 by phone/whatsapp.

DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, July 14\, a festive concert will be held at Kehilat Har-El in honor of Har-El member Cantor Prof. Eliyahu Schleifer on the occasion of the publication of “Mizmor L’Eli”\, an anthology of 27 musical works for the synagogue that he composed.  7 PM – reception and refreshments\, 7:30 PM – the concert begins. \nAt the concert we will hear a choice selection of those works published in the book\, including explanations from Cantor Eli in both Hebrew and English. \nParticipating in the concert (in alphabetical order) will be cantors Shani Ben-Or\, Evan Cohen\, Galit Dadoun-Cohen\, Sarah Grabiner\, Evan Kent\, Eliyahu Schleifer\, and Kari Siegel Eglash.  Piano accompaniment by Aya Schleifer and Anastasia Sobolev. \nAll are invited!
