DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, April 23\, at 6 PM\, we will hold at our congregation a ceremony and evening service to mark Yom Hashoah – Holocaust Memorial & Heroism Day\, together with the first-year rabbinical and cantorial students from North America studying at Hebrew Union College. \nPlease note: following the ceremony we will hear personal testimony in English by Har-El member Betty Van-Essen\, who is a holocaust survivor from Holland.  All are invited to the ceremony and to hear her testimony! \n* The memorial six-candle candelabra in the photo was created by Har-El member Motke Blum z”l.
